Sigma redesigns and relaunches the Citizens Advice service extranet

After completing a full usability, accessibility, design, functionality and content audit earlier in the year, we have redesigned the Citizens Advice service extranet.

Launched in December, the new extranet offers both Citizens Advice staff, and staff and volunteers in bureaux around England and Wales, a reliable and informative communication portal for the years to come. Key elements of the project include a user-focused redesign of the look and feel, navigation and site architecture, new content tagging functionality and team spaces, allowing better user engagement and improved accessibility.

Nigel Shattock, Head of Communications for Citizens Advice commented:

"It's a great step forward for us in terms of improving our key communication channel with the bureaux network - which has over 400 members, many more locations and 27,000 staff and volunteers. The site is much more user friendly in terms of accessibility, look and feel and navigation and so we're really pleased with the development. The design also matches up to our our external websites now, which gives a greater sense of brand and togetherness. We are planning to do a big push on the site to bureaux staff and volunteers in the New Year and we feel confident now that we have a great tool to promote."
